By Car:

 - take the A127 to junction with A1245 (old A130) which is just beyond the bridge over the A127 carrying the new A130. Take the first exit A1245 and follow this road North towards Rawreth and Battlesbridge. Stay on this road until you approach the Battlesbridge Bypass. Turn right onto Chelmsford Road. Signposted for Hullbridge. As the road bears sharp left, turn right into Beeches Road, which becomes Watery Lane and eventually Lower Road.

The ground is on your right opposite Burnham Road. See the map below for directions.

By Rail:

Nearest stations are Hockley and Battlesbridge, which is served by First Great Eastern Services from Liverpool Street. However, the grounds are some 3 miles distant from the station. For further information, including train times, call the National Rail Enquiries Service on 08457 48 49 50.

Local Pubs:

Hullbridge is described in the 9th edition of the CAMRA Essex Beer Guide as "seriously underpubbed", so it looks as if we'll all be in the club bar or at…

Anchor, 284 Ferry Road, Hullbridge. (EBG)

Fortunately this is the club with the best bar in the league – by a mile! There are usually two well kept hand-pump ales and we have been offered a variety during our visits. Honestly, it's almost enough to make you want to move!

If you are going by train, one of the closest stations is Battlesbridge, where you can visit…
Barge, Hawk Hill, Battlesbridge. (EBG, CERA, GBG)
Hawk, Hawk Hill, Battlesbridge. (EBG)

…or you can go via Hockley, where you can visit…
Bull Inn, 99 Main Road, Hockley. (EBG)
White Hart Inn, Main Road, Hawkwell, Hockley. (EBG)
