Matt Bentley returns to team with a bang
Matt Bentley returned from representing Essex, Harry Gibbs returned after 3 months injured and Jack Edmonds played despite still struggling with the ankle injury, this enabled us to name a substitute for the first time in 3 matches.
The lack of available players since january has really taken its toll with confidence low and performances inconsistent but that U18's dug deep against a very good Chelmsford U17 side to progress to the Essex County Cup semi final for the 3rd year running.
It was Matt Bentley who was the goal scoring hero with a hat trick but it was Connor McCann who yet again made critical saves at important times that gave the platform for the victory
